Shalom! TheJcafe.com was founded in November of 2006. The two founders, Brian and Alex, met while participating at Alex's brother's wedding. It was a marriage that came to fruition after meeting on another jewish dating site. Brian and Alex were seated at the same table and hit it off. Alex was there with his fiance, who he also met on another jewish dating website. Half-jokingly, Brian suggested to Alex they should start their own website and make it free to use, or at least a lot less expensive than the other dating websites. TheJcafe.com was born! Several months of brainstorming and sharing ideas turned into a launch of TheJcafe.com on January 1, 2007. The founders twisted arms and coaxed several of their close friends to join the site as beta-testers. Since then, the site proudly boasts several thousand members and growing quickly! TheJcafe.com continues to grow very quickly, takes feedback and input from their members on new features they want to have implemented, and other suggestions on how to improve the system.
